County Historical Museum houses a collection of history from the
formation of the Flint Hills to the great Cattle and Oilmen who
shaped the social and economic foundation of the area. (open 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m.)

First weekend in October - Take in the Hedge Ball Chuckin' Contest.

The first weekend in November take in Cattlemen’s Day – a tradition since 1926 where cattlemen in the area celebrate the end of grazing season. Those attending will take in a western art show, pancake feed, unique parade boasting many horses, western poets and entertainers and more…
